RB Detailing specializes in freelance steel fabrication cad detailing covering small to large contracts.

Most disciplines of work undertaken specializing in mechanical assemblies, ducting runs, plate work, pipe work, architectural metalwork, ladders, platforms, and fire escapes etc.

Illustrations for manuals, break down assemblies, also assembly instructions for multi part assemblies, structural steel work, plant/building layouts, and refurbishment work.

Site surveys under taken (Power stations, Gas compressor stations, General Plant etc), plant layouts for retrofits for new and existing equipment. Updating paper to cad drawings. 2D drawings converted into 3D models.

New or existing products also may be converted into parametric models/ assemblies enabling data - calculations to be imported into Solid edge via a spreadsheet. Rotating/ moving assemblies can also be supplied in Solid edge format.

Previous experience with work for Rolls-Royce, Alstom Power UK (Boiler Retrofits), Siemens,

National Grid, General Electric & Cemex UK.

Detailed work in 3D as well as 2D, using Solid Edge ST4.
